Get to know the team behind Entrix at OutGeekWomen x Munich — Celebrating International Women’s Day!

Thank you, Entrix, for hosting OutGeekWomen x Munich in March 2025! As a Munich-based company committed to a sustainable future and efficient energy management, what inspired you to support women in tech?

At Entrix, we believe that driving a sustainable future and efficient energy management goes hand in hand with fostering diversity. Supporting women in tech aligns with our core values. We recognize the incredible potential that diverse perspectives bring to solving complex problems in the energy sector, and we’re proud to contribute to creating opportunities for women to thrive in technology and beyond. Hosting OutGeekWomen x Munich is our way of supporting this important mission and inspiring the next generation of leaders in tech and sustainability.

When did you move into your current office, and what makes it unique?

In January 2024 we moved from the 6th floor at the Leopoldstr. 20 to the 4th floor into our new office. The office stands out as a highly functional workspace, offering ample room, modern facilities, and a well-equipped kitchen and ideation area. These features create an ideal environment for productive Coffee Chats, collaborative lunches, brainstorming sessions, and workshops, fostering both teamwork and creativity. The building is part of the Arvantis group and houses innovative, sustainability-focused companies, creating a dynamic and inspiring atmosphere. Adding to its appeal, there’s a café conveniently located downstairs, providing a great spot for informal meetings or a quick coffee break (although we are very serious about the quality of our coffee in the office as well ;)).

What sets working at Entrix apart from other companies in Munich’s tech scene, and what makes it such a rewarding experience?

Working at Entrix stands out because of our unique blend of purpose-driven innovation and collaborative culture. How does Entrix support and contribute to women in tech community in Munich metro and Bavaria in general?

At Entrix, we’re aware that our involvement in supporting women in tech has been limited so far. Beyond offering internships to women in the field, we haven’t had the chance to contribute significantly to the broader community yet. However, we recognize the importance of doing more, both internally and externally. That’s why we’re starting to host events and take steps to engage with the tech community in Munich and Bavaria. We also know our own team doesn’t yet reflect the diversity we want to see, and we’re committed to changing that. We’re excited to take these first steps and look forward to being more active in supporting women in tech.
